Park this car at a show with 1000 others, and pick it out instantly! All steel car with fiberglass rear fenders. Original rear tail lights with left and right. Rarity, due to the fact that only Deluxe models were equipped with the right rear light. Custom paint, yellow-gold. Headlights modified for seal beams and slightly smaller than original.
ENGINE- 454 ci bored to 461ci, 10 : l pistons, small hydraulic cam 1970- LS6 valve springs, 074 cylinder heads, ported, tight block shorty headers, chrome pulleys, high rise aluminum intake. Mallory dual point distributor with blaster coil. Hamburger gear reduction starter - aluminum Holly valve covers, 7 mm accell plugwires. Rebuilt Holly 850 modified carburetor, dual feed with chrome fuel lines and braided fuel hose.
TRANSMISSION: 400 Turbo, deep oil pan, oil cooler mounted on fire wall. B & M quicksilver racing shifter with reverse lockout, impossible to miss a shift.
REAR END: Ford 9”, narrowed to approximately 36”, housing reinforced, HD coil over brackets and ladder bar brackets welded on. 3:05 gear - non-posi with 15 X 14 centreline rims and Hoosier Quicktime 31 X 16.50 -15LT ladder bar suspension, HD adjustable, pan hard bar with hiem adjusters on both ends. Coil over shocks (adjustable) , aluminum with different mounting holes in both body and rear axle. Adjustable brackets on body for ladder bars with 5 holes and adjustable hiem joints on ladder bars. Brakes and hubs on rear changed to 11” dana hubs and drums, 11” X 2”. Brake drums have no large ugly fins on them.
FRONT SUSPENSION: Frame off restoration. Frame sanded down and has been modified with a Mustang II cross member, upper and lower control arms, and lower strut rods have hiem joints to adjust lower control arms. Lower cross member has been welded into the original frame with steel blending it into the frame. Rack & pinion steering. Custom smooth running boars painted same as body colour with gold trim molding on bottom edge. Shave drip rail with gold trim running along the edge.
INSIDE: Special hard top roof panel. Vintage sun super tachometer. Crank out windshield for old fashioned air-conditioning. Dash painted pearl white with custom stripe. JL 10” subs built into rear seat area, extra wide mother-in-law seat in centre rear. Alpine CDE 7826 Am/Fm/CD player in raised console,35 watts X 4 amplifiers -6” X 9” speakers in rear valance. Competition Rodek power amp, Pioneer 250w amp, Alpine active crossover, Hidden antenna with signal booster.
REAR TRUNK: Area has battery and battery box mounted in floor. Custom box for power amps, and crossover with electric cooling fans. 16 gallon fuel cell mounted below truck between the fuel rails. Recessed licence plate area with chrome plate frame.
